Hey, went to Eagle Rock Brewery yesterday for a class and learned that there was a brewing club on the East Side. Excellent! I’m tired of schlepping to Culver City to meet up with Brewers. When do you guys meet?
We typically meet once a month, but as opposed to standing around just talking about beer, most of our meetings are either a saturday or sunday morning brew session, or field trip to a brewery, beer bar, etc. I’ll add you to our email list to keep you up to speed.
We just had a meeting this past saturday morning. When we figure out what we’re doing next month I’ll drop you a line!
I’d like to know when your next meeting is gonna be. I’m very new at this. I’ve only brewed one batch of pale ale back in Sept. Gotta say, it did come out good. Wanna meet some brewers and beer afficionados in the area….
Gonna brew a batch of IPA this tuesday-just bought a freezer with an external thermostat that I’ll be using as my dedicated fermentor. I’m pretty damn excited!! Hope to hear back from your group.
Whats up. I’ve been experimenting with homebrewing for about a year; made a few extract/specialty grain batches that came out great. I want to expand my knowledge about this fun craft and would like to meet people that are just as enthusiastic as I am. Plus, like Amy, I don’t want to drive to culver city every time I want to meet beer fanatics. Any info on your next meeting or brew session would be great.
